What we actually need is cash
Cash sponsorship is rare these days. It's also exactly what we need.
It lets us buy great books, including from independent authors, in bulk. Those books go straight to the Somerset primary schools that need them most.
Sponsorship comes as a Story Seeds Box: £500 of books, games or audio for one school. Sponsor one box or many.
We also accept in-kind book donations from publishers and independent authors. Please get in touch before sending anything.
Story Seeds is funded by corporate sponsorship, and we're building beyond a single sponsor.
Sponsor a Story Seeds Box
£500 per box
A box is what £500 buys. Around £500 of books, games or audio, built with a school around what its children need, and delivered to reception.
Sponsor one box or twenty. Every box carries your name into that school.
Four ways a box can go
The Class Set
One book for every child in a class to keep.
- 30 new paperbacks, chosen with the class teacher
- Titles children reach for first, not worthy ones
- A book each to take home and keep
The Library Box
The box six Somerset schools received in December.
- Around 20 new library titles
- Roughly £100 of board and card games
- A Yoto Mini loaded with audiobooks
The Listening Box
For children who read best by ear.
- Yoto players for the classroom or library
- Audiobook cards, from classics to new voices
- Stories in a child’s home language via Daily Adventure
The Games Box
Reading-adjacent play for class and lunchtime.
- Word and story games such as Story Cubes and Bananagrams
- Picture games such as Dixit and Dobble Kids for early readers
- Quick pickups an adult can run for a group of six
Every box includes, for your business
- Your company named on the delivery and in the blog post about it, with photos where the school agrees.
- Your logo and a link on this page for as long as you sponsor.
- A short impact note after delivery: which school, what went in, what they said.
- A Story Seeds sponsor badge for your own website and social channels.
The company behind the boxes
Every box we have sent to a Somerset school has had Innatus Digital behind it. Nine boxes so far, and what they turned into.

Story Seeds is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity, so payments to us do not qualify for charitable donation relief.
Sponsorship is different. Your business receives named recognition, content and reporting in return for each box, which is why most companies treat it as a marketing cost rather than a gift. Every sponsorship is confirmed in a short written agreement setting out what you get.
Story Seeds is not VAT registered, so £500 is the full price. Please take your own advice on how sponsorship is treated in your accounts.
