This website is operated by Story Seeds Somerset CIC, Companies House No. 15451729, registered in England and Wales.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, share, and link to anything on this site. You can register your school, contact us, or read our blog. In return, please do not use the site to break the law, attempt to compromise its security, submit misleading information in our forms, or scrape content at volume in a way that degrades the service.
Accuracy of information
We try to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date. Impact statistics are compiled from our own delivery records and are refreshed periodically. Descriptions of books we have donated reflect editions available at the time of writing. None of the content on the site is intended as professional, legal, or financial advice.
Registering a school
Registering a school does not guarantee a donation. We review applications in batches against available funding and prioritise schools with the greatest need. We will always respond, but some schools will wait longer than others. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding promise of goods or services to any specific school.
Donations from businesses
Offers of cash or in-kind support made through our contact form are treated as an invitation to discuss, not a completed gift. Any actual donation is governed by a separate written agreement between the business and Story Seeds Somerset CIC.
Third-party links
Our blog and other pages occasionally link to third-party websites, book publishers, and authors. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
Text, images, and design on this site are either owned by us, used with permission, or used under licence. Book covers and quotations remain the property of their respective authors and publishers. You are welcome to quote short passages of our writing with attribution; do not republish whole articles without getting in touch first.
Liability
We provide this site on a best-efforts basis. To the extent permitted by UK law, we do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited under UK law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be heard by the courts of England and Wales.
